Kintsugi: Embrace Your Flaws
What does it mean?
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections. “You won't realize your full potential until you go through the tough times.” We all have or will experience difficulties and/or traumatic events in our lives. Applying Kintsugi to our lives means being bold, rather than hiding the cracks and imperfections, we can accept them, find new perspectives and learn from them allowing ourselves to grow and move forward.
