Our job is to take care of all the planning, preparation and execution of events and fundraisers that directly contribute to our students. This takes a tremendous weight off the shoulders of our band director, which lets him do what he does best: teach music. 

Join in our efforts by contributing your skills, knowledge and/or time. We need bakers, crafters, chaperones, drivers, prop builders, prop/equipment movers, envelope-stuffers, admin (board members) and all-around eager-to-help volunteers. Whatever skill you may have to offer, we are sure it can be used to boost, promote and further enhance the band & guard programs!

Here are some of the ways we lend our support:

- Purchase and repair instruments and equipment
- Provide transportation to many events away from OHHS
- Chaperone camps and events away from OHHS
- Provide water to band & guard members during rehearsals, camp days and competitions
- Assist with trips and events away from OHHS
- Encourage our students
- Attend games and contests
- Compliment students for a job well done
- Cheer for OHHS band and every other band

We understand that due to unique circumstances, you may not be able to attend all meetings or events. It does, however, take a lot of work to keep our band & guard running. We ask each parent to devote some time to the volunteer opportunities available. F

NOTE: Membership NOT required to attend meetings. Our meetings are open to all parents/guardians of our students who are active in our programs, regardless of membership.
