2026 Rose Parade

Bands of America Honor Band
December 27, 2025 – January 3, 2026 • Pasadena, CA
Eligible participants must have graduation years of 2025 or later. (Class of 2025 seniors are eligible.)

Registration is NOW open for this amazing opportunity! The Bands of America Honor Band is a 300-piece national ensemble with winds, percussion, and color guard, invited to march in the famed 2026 Rose Parade®.

The members of the 2026 Honor Band, representing schools from across America, will gather together for the first time on December 27 to spend a week in Southern California for rehearsals, performances at the Tournament of Roses Bandfest, special activities, and a featured appearance in the Rose Parade® on New Year’s Day and for broadcast worldwide.

Camp Rhapsody

Rhapsody:
Winter Guard Clinic

This is great for new/potential winter guard members. There will be beginner levels along with advanced levels. This allows them to try new things as well as see the possibilities when higher levels perform. So if you have a friend who is considering joining, let them know. All ages are invited. They have different classes for different levels of skills.

This clinic also helps you get used to a different style of teaching/learning. These experiences help keep your mind open and flexible.

- COST: $40 per person
- WHO: Open to all ages
- WHEN: Nov 16, 11am - 6pm
- WHERE: Gateway Middle School in Everett.

OHHS Color Guard has equipment available to borrow for camp. Transportation may also be available. Please contact them for more info.

Click Music: School of Music Lessons

Students enjoy regularly scheduled weekly lessons. These are held in private lesson studios on-site at Click Music. Parents are welcome to observe in-studio or from the waiting area.

All instructors are full-time professional teachers and musicians. Students are offered frequent performance opportunities for which our Studio Accompanist helps them prepare. They are also invited to attend clinics, workshops, and group activities here.

Lesson cost is $125 per month and can be paid to Click Music by cash or credit card. Auto-pay is also available for your convenience.

Whidbey Island Orchestra 

The Whidbey Island Orchestra consists of strings, winds, brass and percussion of all abilities and backgrounds.

Welcome to any player of all ages! Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings. More info on their website, click the button below.

All-Island Community Band

Experience does NOT have to be recent - play the notes you can until you can play the notes you want. Parents, older siblings, aunts, uncles, etc... are also welcome to join. 

Students, do you need volunteer hours? Some of their work such as playing at retirement homes, in support of WAIF, Christmas concert food drive, etc., could be used to fulfill that requirement.

Rehearsal weekly: Thursday evenings, 6:30pm-8pm
at Click Music. Be sure to bring a music stand.
